‘Perfection in the making’ is an ethos that we strive every day to achieve in both our commissioned fine furniture as well as within the furniture school. It’s about furniture making without compromise, demanding and more importantly allowing perfection to be created. Not stopping when you feel a piece is good enough but pushing on until a flawless finish is achieved. From the design to the selection of the finest timbers, through the use of industry leading machinery, the masterful use of fine hand tools and hand finishing techniques, every effort is made to achieve ‘perfection in the making’. Our master cabinet makers are allowed the time to follow their instincts and desires to reach perfection. A luxury not allowed in mass production and often overlooked by other furniture workshops this extra time spent throughout the making process culminates in heirloom quality furniture that will be enjoyed for generations to come.

This ethos of ‘perfection in the making’ is pushed hard within the fine furniture school. All furniture school staff and furniture school students alike aim high and achieve great things. Our fine furniture school is rapidly becoming associated with exceptionally high standards of both craftsmanship and design.
