Tool Requirements

As well as a good workbench setup, you’ll also need access to the following tools to be able to complete this project:

  • Hand planes, including block and bench plane
  • Combination Square or engineers square
  • Digital Calipers
  • A few lipping clamps and a few G Clamps
  • Handsaw or Japanese Saw preferable
  • Router, access to a router table preferable
  • Bandsaw
  • A hand drill
  • Large F-Clamps or a vacuum bag to press your veneered top
