Long Courses — Designer Maker Courses
Our long course options provide an immersive experience in fine furniture craftsmanship and design. Whether you choose our full 3-term Designer Maker Course, 2-term option, International Designer Maker Course, or 12-week intensive, you’ll develop essential cabinet making skills while creating bespoke furniture pieces.
Students on the 3-term Designer Maker Course begin with fundamental hand skills like tool sharpening, precision joinery, and veneering. You’ll progress to advanced techniques such as marquetry, steam bending, and French polishing. During the final terms, students design and create their own unique projects under the expert guidance of our award-winning team.
Our international course supports long-term visa stays, and all courses offer a rigorous curriculum, ensuring professional-levels of craftsmanship are achieved. Perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, these courses provide small class sizes for individualised attention, ensuring rapid skill development.
